Jean Hobart works as an independent contractor, bringing both a woman's perspective and twenty-eight years of litigation experience to trial consulting. Her legal background includes personal injury, business, real estate and trust litigation. She is sworn into the U.S. Claims Court; the U.S. Central and Northern District Courts, and the California Supreme Court.

Not only is Jean Hobart highly respected by attorneys and judges, but she also has an AV Martindale-Hubbell rating. She has been admitted to the Hall of Fame at the Western State University College of Law. She is a past Vice-President and Board Member of the Public Law Center, formerly known as Amicus Publico.

Jean Hobart has filled several leadership roles: as past president of the Orange County Trial Lawyers, as past president of the Orange County Women Lawyers, as a board member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, past treasurer of the Orange County Newport Harbor Bar Association, and founding member and former secretary of the Orange County Celtic Bar Association. She is also past president of Women In Business of Orange County.

She has been a frequent CEB lecturer, as well as a presenter for the Consumer Attorneys of California, the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, and the Orange County Newport Harbor Bar Association.
